At the 1017D Visual Design Lab, we enjoy the creative process with an open mind—whether it’s capturing spontaneous images as lines, exploring emotions through color, or searching for desired forms with our fingertips.
With “shiraku” (*1) as our theme, we not only pursue flat visual expressions mainly through paper-based media, but also engage in experimental projects that explore the multidimensional possibilities of visual communication through flexible and unconventional ideas. This includes original product design that makes use of graphic elements.
*1: “Shiraku” is a coined term by Mizukawa, meaning “to bring enjoyment through visual experience.”
